FLEXVISION is an AI smart traffic video detection device designed as an alternative to inductive loops. The vehicle detector is a class leading detector with a range of up to 100m. There is an embedded AI smart vehicle detector engine which allows FLEXVISION to detect and classify vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, buses and HGV’s. Using AI other classifications can be customised.
The AI detector can be used in a variety of applications such as:
- Stop line detection
- Turn movement detection and counting
- Bicycle detection
- Counts on dedicated bicycle areas and lanes, and all red extension for pedestrians.
The detection data can be sent to one or more contact closure cards via the built in Ethernet interface. These outputs can be connected to the traffic signals controller as an alternative to inductive loops. There are up to 8 detection zones available including advanced bicycle stop lines areas and pedestrian crossings.
The count and classification data can be sent to our accompanying data analytics platform TrafficWeb data analytics tool, also manufactured by Sensebit. There is also the option to take a live video feed back to the customer’s network.
