COMPACTVISION is an AI traffic detection device designed as an alternative to inductive loops. The AI traffic detector is a class leading detector with a range of up to 80m. There is an embedded AI traffic detector engine which allows COMPACTVISION to detect and classify vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, buses and HGV’s. Using AI other classifications can be customised.
The AI traffic detector can be used in a variety of applications such as:
- Stop line detection
- Turn movement detection and counting
- Bicycle detection
- Counts on dedicated bicycle areas and lanes, and all red extension for pedestrians.
The AI traffic detection data can be sent to one or more contact closure cards via the built in Ethernet interface. These outputs can be connected to the traffic signals controller as an alternative to inductive loops. There are up to 8 detection zones available including advanced bicycle stop lines areas and pedestrian crossings.
The count and classification data can be sent to our accompanying data analytics platform TrafficWeb data analytics tool, also manufactured by Sensebit.
